Restricted Use of Conflict Minerals
Lian Dung understands and supports the declaration on the prohibition of conflict minerals. Although Liandong does not directly procure metal raw materials, our company is committed to conducting thorough due diligence on suppliers to ensure that metals such as gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), cobalt (Co), tin (Sn), palladium (Pd), mica (Mica), graphite (Graphite), lithium (Lithium), copper (Copper), and nickel (Nickel) are not sourced from the Democratic Republic of the Congo or its adjoining regions where illegal armed conflicts occur, and are not mined under conditions involving labor exploitation or unsafe working environments.
In order to be sure Lian Dung products do not use any the above "Conflict Minerals", we request our supplier:
- Must conduct their operation in a socially and environmentally responsible way
- Lian Dung does not accept “conflict minerals” that originate from the Democratic Republic of the Congo or its adjoining regions where illegal armed conflicts occur, and that are mined under conditions involving labor exploitation and unsafe working environments.
- We trace the sources of cobalt (Co), gold (Au), palladium (Pd), tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn), tungsten (W), mica (Mica), graphite (Graphite), lithium (Lithium), copper (Copper), and nickel (Nickel) contained in all products. In accordance with the latest Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) and Extended Minerals Reporting Template (EMRT) issued by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI), we conduct supplier investigations to ensure that these metals are not sourced from conflict-affected areas.
